I want to know what are maybe one or two things that you are sick of hearing about in the fitness and like health industry. So for example, I feel like a lot of people promote like skinny detox teas and stuff like that, or maybe there's just like common things that are being repeated over and over again, and maybe like you're sick of hearing it on social media. I'm interested to know what some are that you guys see a lot and what you're sick of seeing and maybe what you'd like to see more of and also why.

And a lot of people promote protein, protein shakes and drinks and stuff and like protein bars. On my social media, like on my 4U page on TikTok, a lot of people are like, get your protein in, get your protein in and they're always like referencing some type of protein drink. And I'm like, there's other ways to get your protein in besides just protein drinks. So yeah, that's kind of annoying.

Yes, I agree. I feel like so many people are promoting protein and supplements over like getting your protein in from natural food sources and the foods you're already eating. And I think that it's just bad. I don't agree. I think you can have it as a supplement. I do occasionally but I agree with you.

One thing that I'm sick of seeing is people saying that you can spot reduced fat like do this exercise to burn belly fat or do this exercise to get rid of cellulite. And there's no way that you can reduce fat on just one part of your body. You can tone it up and make it look better, you know, depending on how much you have. But they're like, oh, do this exercise and you'll burn belly fat. No, like you have to burn fat and do cardio for your entire body. like it's a full body thing, not a spot thing, you know?

Yes I love those thank you so much I am a personal trainer so like half my time is spent teaching people this and so many people like I still have clients send me those types of videos on Instagram and they're like oh I wanna do this to get rid of my tummy or whatever it's like we can do that it'll strengthen your core but the only thing that's going to help you get rid of body fat is proper nutrition and body fat loss overtime

Okay, waist trainers. Even though I feel like I definitely will use one, waist trainers to me are just, they can be so bad for you though if you always wear them when you work out because it actually messes with your abdominal muscles and makes it loose. Like, basically you would have to depend on wearing it every time you work out. So waist trainers, a big No, no.

Yes I agree with this wholeheartedly and you know what I'm a certified personal trainer waist trainers do absolutely nothing for you they may help you like brace your core properly but they don't make your waist any smaller like the only way that you're going to do that is through diet nutrition and exercise

Yeah I'm sick of seeing those Jim Attica videos in other ones weather like weather like stitch somebody and say hello there is about as a medical a lot of other night I feel like they're really good intentions mostly but like they're always been like whenever you're supposed to answer or something then never that was never like nuanced discussion as always just I get a sister but I just feel like there's not really helpful

That's a good one that I did not think I've seen a lot of those two and I think sometimes it can be well-intentioned but I don't think they come off that way I think you can do it in a way that doesn't come off rude but I agree with you

That you cannot eat carbohydrates because they make you fat as bullshit obviously you know depending on the type of carbohydrate yes there are some that are better than the others you know like from fruit or veggies versus fries or some thing but either way like carbohydrates provide a natural energy right so I'm just it's annoying I get so annoyed when I hear like if you can't have carbs cause you're gonna get fat

Yes, this is another one that drives me crazy and like I feel like I've made it my life's purpose to try and convince people to eat carbs because they're good for you and you need them and it's our body's first source of energy. So it's like when you cut them out you are obviously not going to feel good and they're so important and I'm glad that you realize that because it is a problem. People are definitely promoting that idea.

This is another good one and it's definitely hard to get bulky like you have to really work for that. They'll understand that, right?

I Think one thing I'm sick about hearing about fitness is people trying to tell trying to tell you what to eat Yeah, I mean this losing weight is mainly diet But everybody has a different makeup inside so I do think that people will try and try to push what they do on on others and you gotta realize everybody has a different body so what works for you won't work for somebody else

Might be my favorite comment on here you are totally right and I'm a nutritionist so when I coach people on like proper nutrition I like work with them on figuring out like what foods do you like what works well for you because what works well for me might not work well for them you don't like the same foods me we don't eat at the same time so don't have the same schedule is it so true
