A lot of people think that you need to confuse your muscles on like a week to week basis by giving your body different exercises to do and to confuse them over time. But I'm here to tell you that that is a myth. I'm a certified personal trainer and nutritionist and just want to let you know this is not a thing. If you want to make progress, you should be progressively overloading with your weights over time. And you know, once something is too easy for you, there's always a way to make something a little more harder, a little more advanced. So that's the best way to do it.
