So today I'm talking about the best supplements and the ones that I recommend taking that are worth it. I'm in the ISSA certified personal trainer, so you can trust what I'm saying, but you know, always thank for yourself. So a lot of people think that once they get into the gym and working out regularly that they should be taking all these supplements. The ones that I recommend that are actually worth it are one, protein powder, find a good quality one, low in sugar, and very clean ingredients. Two would be caffeine. If you want to do an all-natural approach to pre-workout before your workouts, caffeine is your go-to. Creatine is another all-natural, very well-studied supplement that our body already produces naturally. And then four would be electrolyte powders and supplements. Again, making sure that those are low in sugar. You've done your research and they are very clean products. That's what I recommend. I don't really think you need any more than that. If you do want to take supplements, great. You don't have to though. I do want to add that in there. So let me know what supplements that you take now or you've taken in the past or are you taking any? Yeah, let me know.

Thank you so much for posting this because I just started working out in the gym again consistently and I've been a little bit I guess on the fence about what supplements I should be taking and what things are just extras. So right now I'm just taking protein powder and creatine and I've been wanting to try pre-workout but I wanted to know this might sound like a weird question but what's your opinion on taking creatine and pre-workout at the same time because I usually take my creating before my workout.

I think you're fine doing that. I know a lot of people that do that and creatine doesn't taste like anything And you can really take it at any time of day as long as you're taking it consistently over like Days and weeks and months. So yeah, mix it with your pre-workout You can really mix it with any drink as long as you take it So nothing bad is going to happen if you take them both at the same time, if that's what you're asking.

This is helpful, thank you. I started to take creatine although I'm not as consistent as I should. Also a friend started and she was told that it would cost her like water retention which I'm not sure if that's the case. I have not notice on me.

You're welcome and yeah that's the main thing that creatine does so we already produce creatine in our bodies naturally so when we take it as a supplement it pretty much like tops off our creatine limit and what it does is it takes water and it pulls it into your muscles so it's really important to stay really hydrated while you're taking it so it works well and so so you don't get like headaches and you don't get dehydrated.
