What does a healthy relationship with food essentially look like to you? Now, I feel like in my personal opinion, so this is things surrounding my opinion, research, my experiences, I feel like a healthy relationship with food actually stems from when you start to view food as a resource, and energy and a fuel and a form of medicine like this is something to nourish and fuel my body, right? And when you think about it, you can take our multivitamins supplements, etc. But a lot of them are not necessary literally unless you have a specific efficiency and the reason why is because you're most likely are likely supposed to obtain these things, these vitamins and minerals from your diet, right? So even when you just look at that perspective of I shouldn't have to rely on any multivitamins, etc. because my diet should be nourishing me in that way. I think that's a healthy way to look at things. And I think intuitive eating has also been a big thing, in moderation so understanding like because your body can also low-key be telling you to like binge eating you don't want to do that right so I think like understanding what healthy cues about food from your body look like versus very like emotional driven ones that's something really important to consider and I think I'm going to do a part two on this.

This is a really good question, so a healthy relationship with food for me is one where nothing is restricted I don't called foods good or bad it's just all balanced and I just eat foods that feel good to me start when I'm feel when I'm hungry and I stop before I'm stuffed

I think portion control is so important and what you said about stopping before your staff, I want to know how do you personally know you're about to be staffed because some people can't really gauge that I know for me personally. I can kind a gay joke but not all the time.

A healthy relationship to food looks like me having a deeper understanding of why I eat the food that I eat without any shame condemnation or fear attached to it that I don't eat foods for emotional coping I am and that I eat foods that I know are going to nurture my body but when I want to indulge in some thing that I don't feel guilty about it so it's a healthy balance of all the above so that I can be free to eat what I like

I absolutely love this response. I think honing back to like your why and constantly thinking about okay why do I indulge in certain foods like what is my reason like am I doing this for emotional reasons is because I generally just want to treat myself you know like I think that why is really important so So thank you so much for that point.

So for me having a healthy relationship with food as being able to allow myself that cookie or that piece of cake and not feeling guilty about it I am just finding balance and not being so strict like 100% of the time because that's just not sustainable for myself but also not overdoing it either on foods that are great for me like just I was like I said I just didn't find a balance
