I wanted to know what were your opinions on parents who do this thing where when they're talking to adults they would speak like they normally do, use a big language etc but when they speak to their child they dumb things down. Yeah I wanted to know your opinion on things like that like parents who avoid using normal slash complex sentences with their children or grandma because obviously it's associated with essentially stunting the language development of the child because they're not exposed to a a variety, a greater variety of vocabulary.
