Barbie the movie and kinky by Denise Duhamel if you have not read kinky which is a poetry collection by Denise Duhamel you need to especially if you plan on watching the Barbie movie or Barbie the movie by Greta Gerwig Or directed by her because this movie even though it looks like this fun Cue comedy there's gonna be a very serious side to those you know the part where is kids were aware of the world we know it's not perfect but as adults as we begin to a really experience the world all of the dark sides are revealed to us and some people think that Barbie doesn't know anything about the outside world or What it is but the thing is Barbie is aware she just doesn't know the extent of it just like his children we didn't know the extent of the world until we really started to live life more and grow up and become adults and so Barbie goes from this childlike world to you know the harsh reality and it's going to be those experiences wrapped in comedy and it really echoes Denise DiMille's kinky where you see this Barbie who is you know supposed to be like this ideal perfect person in a perfect world we can do anything but then when she comes into the real world of which she has knowledge of she is starting to really experience the heaviness of that and Really get it and then it's you know sad honestly because it is sad
