I actually do prep vegetables like I'll cut up vegetables raw to have around and clean them and then I also roast vegetables and keep those for the week but then I cook fresh everything else
I cook daily because a lot of times I don't know what we're gonna have for dinner so I kind of wing it even when I try to meal prep I never follow through with it so yeah I cook daily.
This was literally on my mind this rising. I'm gonna start meal prepping again just so I can stick to a schedule more especially since I'm working from home right now so it'll help.
I've tried meal prepping, it depends what it is. Like if it's overnight oats, I can do like a day or two or chia seed pudding. But meat, I feel like I have to cook the day of. I can't eat like five day old meat for some reason.
Yeah, in theory meal prep is good, but then in practice you're giving up a big chunk of your Sunday to meal prep and in reality it's also more fun to just spontaneously decide what you're going to eat.
