It's easy and often we equate sex with intimacy, but intimacy can come in other forms. So what is something that is non-sexual but extremely intimate that you and your significant other have done for one another.

I would say that intimacy is showing your fears and insecurities to the other person without being judged.

I totally agree with you. You just have to be like open about your feelings and find trust in the other person and that's how non-sexual intimacy is built.

non-sexual intimacy is just a long time being with the person, sharing these little moments with them, actually loving them without their superficial appearance being the forefront of it, like actually connecting with the person. And I think that's the most important thing.

I love that you mentioned sharing little moments, like little moments build up all the larger portions of life, right? like every little droplet in the ocean, of the ocean itself.

Sad conversation with this last night. It's important that you have intimacy that's not sexually... related.

Combing hair sounds so nice. It's like a head massage.

This sounds really old school, but writing. Like I have written in a couple of cards and sent it his way about how I felt and he has done that for me too and I cherish them. Like looking at his handwriting and seeing the time and effort he put into his thoughts. You know it's not like you could something you could type in just a race. You know it's he literally wrote down how he felt and that's just something, oh, it's just near and dear to my heart.

I think handwritten notes are so romantic and so thoughtful and sweet. I'm definitely a big fan of snail mail. So love that you mentioned this.
