I'm very curious, right? We talk a lot about technological advances. What is the most exciting thing out there and all that? But what is the most overly complicated, useless technology in your opinion?

When it comes to the most useless, honestly, it was the Amazon Alexa for cars. Because most cars already do all of that with Bluetooth, you know, and you can use your smartphone to the tape comes

That is quite interesting, I think I missed this. So what was the gig with Amazon Alexa for cars? I can't remember if I haven't even seen that.

Yes, I agree with that answer as well. I think that technology is just overrated.

I never saw the Amazon Alexa for cars and yeah a lot of the new cars do you have like a Apple AirPlay or CarPlay option but I mean I wouldn't be against if it's all the vehicles

Good question I mean if I had to choose one if I'm honest I think it's the Apple Watch or just smart watches in general man I don't know I just don't see them is cutting edge and as exciting as the other forms of technology are there

It's interesting you say that man because I actually completely agree with you even though I have a smartwatch and And all of it is because of a gimmick of having notifications on your wrist. I don't use it for anything else.

I deafly do this is all I've never owned a smart watch and apart from initially thinking you'll be cool to take phone calls on your watch which it definitely isn't there's not much value of just telling the time which and witch can do

Oh gosh. I don't know of any technology that doesn't work whenever you want it to work becomes useless and aggravating, you know?

So anything with a bug or a flaw now and then, is it the same with people? If at some point they have some down times when they're not doing what they're supposed to, they become useless.

Listen, I totally agree Ash, but I've got to say I've loved the exchange between you and Ken here. That was a very funny break from my day. So appreciate y'all

I'm right there with a smart watch just like all the extra stuff talking to your father who's really got to do that check in text messages if I can use it just detail time and track my feelings that's all I need like everything else is pointless

Quite honestly, I've got a smartwatch but I only use it to tell time and to get my notifications. So I don't have to check my phone to see what's going on. And that's it. I don't use any of the extras.

You raise a good point actually with the fitness tracking side of things and I think without the whole striking stuff to that might be the only thing I can save the small ones though I don't about the rest of the things I was meant for like phone calls and stuff but that is actually quite good point

Do you know what controversial I think rubber vacuums they look cool they don't actually clean the place properly right it's a gimmick and I don't see the point in them and they're expensive you must get a very nice vacuum and do yourself

It's quite funny because we rely very heavily on those in Norway in our house. Do you think it has to do with the brand though? That just some of them are good, some of them are shit. What do you think is this like across all robo vacuums?

I think I'm basing it on experience I had Amina out of rubber vacuum which eventually broke and when it was working I just didn't see it really doing much I think it obviously doesn't compare to the power of a regular vacuum but yeah

You never know man. I certainly know that they're absolutely useless as far as movement goes. I mean any edge ledge and or carpet will paralyze them. so you've got a perfectly perfect floor.

I'd probably say the Flipper Zero is completely useless. I've been seeing it over TikTok so I decided to get one. And it just does the exact same thing I used to do with my Samsung Galaxy as four years ago. It's completely useless and it costs way too much for what it is.

I does quite a dangerous piece of technology actually they could be used to Russell repeat signals from car keys and other devices within the home button is on the staircase also what to do with it

Yeah, this is quite interesting. I know very little about this. I'm not really seen it. But I'd love to hear more about what it's supposed to be doing and what it's actually Thank you for watching.

So they've kind of framed it as a multitool for geeks which is something for like hacking digital things like radio protocols and whatnot apparently it's for the pen testing however a lot of people are using it for crime

That's quite interesting. You might have to take a deeper look into this. Nothing I'd probably know how to use it, but yeah, sounds cool.

All it does is copy, write, and emulate NFC data and repeat radio signals and IR signals, which this is all stuff I used to do with my old phone. I used to use earbuds as an antenna.

Go to hypothetically then copy the NFC data on a contactless credit debit card and then Basically use it to create something that could take pins on behalf of that card.

Thanks for sharing exclamation I didn't realise it was that simplified I think the way the need to sound was something way more sinister and complex but yeah it's a interesting piece of tech
1

Yeah, just recently I got a cash-up card so I could go up the NFC data onto a ring and it works really well But depending on what bank you use the cards are usually encrypted, but some of them are easier to write back.
