What's the craziest thing you've ever been told as a woman in tech? I'll start. I once had a manager who after a really hard week and where he was ghosting me to deal with it, we had a conversation and he tried to pull me into some sob story that he had only hired me because he wanted to prove to himself he could manage a woman because he had said some messed up stuff to a woman he managed before. And I was like, what do you mean? You could prove yourself you're not a misogynist? Is this supposed to make me feel better? Like, what does that even mean? I know this is a tough industry for women to be in and some of this stuff is why I'm curious to hear what your guys' stories are.

I do not have any stories yet but I feel sorry that this happened to you. I know you are capable of so many things and this guy is just making a wrong comment about it.
