All right, this is one of my sister's stories. She used to work at a hotel bar in a large city, and on a slow day, you know, she would talk to guests, and one of them was a 22-year-old teacher who was traveling by herself, a guest at the hotel, and she gets cut early, meaning like she's off her shift and decides to go out for a couple drinks. She's at a bar nearby, and she sees the guest who's clearly, you know, drunk and throws up all over the bar, and that part of town is known for sleazy guys, and she's by herself. So my sister takes her back to the hotel, helps her get to her room safe before anyone can take advantage of her, and leaves her number to text when she's away to make sure that she's okay, and she does, thanks to the next day. She explains that she was back out drunk and barely remembers any of the night, and my sister thought that was the end of that until her boss pulls her into a room and proceeds to fire her for fraternizing with the guest. Apparently it was on video, and my sister explained that she was just doing it to get her back to her room safe. Apparently it looked weird on video, and she was unemployed and got fired and had to go back to looking for a job just because she was a good Samaritan and help somebody get back to the room drunk.
