What are y'all's ways of staying like focused and like disciplined when you're trying to go into a calorie deficit or like lose weight or stuff like that? Like how do you stick to your diet and how are you like basically like what what keeps you going? Like what is motivating you? Because right now discipline is not disciplining like it needs to so I'm looking for any tips centrics.
The best where I stay disciplined is set an long-term medium term short-term goals and make sure they are smart targets search up if you don't know but they work wonders I can't
You know, that's a good way to look at it. I had it, like I had like short-term and like long-term girls but goals but I didn't really think about like medium ones and like things to put in between so I'll definitely try to like incorporate that.
the best way that works for me I've done the whole restrictions thing and stuff so not restricting myself allowing myself to eat things in moderation and rest when I need to not beat myself up about it.
But I would say sorry I meant to add this to the most important thing is I am saying your calorie deficit but make sure that it's not too huge of a deficit starting off because it makes it a lot harder like slowly bring that deficit down if needed
So yeah, I've done the whole like restricting thing and not allowing myself to like I just cut everything out cold turkey But I found that like if I do try to eat in moderation I don't really know what moderation is So I end up throwing myself out of the deficit that I've put myself in and that's my problem
It's usually way easier for me to just restrict and go cold turkey on foods I'm not supposed to eat but then like in the end it's not sustainable so trying to find a way to eat in moderation and and also not throw myself out of the deficit is like the part.
