So I've never really noticed an issue with my daughter's eyesight because most of the things we do up close. But we just had her kindergarten screening yesterday and she failed her eye exam for depth and for just general eyesight for the lines. Yeah, she failed in both eyes and her depth perception. So now it's like making me question things because she's always been a little bit more clumsy, but I just chalked it up to she's clumsy. But in all reality, if her depth perceptions offer has issues in that sense, like it would make sense why she would like trip over herself or run into things because she just didn't realize they were coming up that quick. I don't know. So I will be looking for a eye doctor for a child here to get her eyes evaluated, but I didn't even know that was a thing. I feel like the last time they checked her hearing or eyesight at the doctors was when she was like two years old. So I didn't really think to like, hey, check her eyes because there was no like indicators that her eyes were giving her issues. So yeah, I guess we'll be going through that journey. But his side of the family has very bad eyesight. A lot of like my husband even had bad eyesight when he was younger and he grew out of it as his eyes got stronger. so it isn't surprising. It just threw me off guard because I didn't realize she was struggling.

My daughter was three years old when she started wearing glasses. She had like an eye exam at her preschool and they had seen some issues with her site there. there so I just scheduled an appointment with my local.

But I just scheduled an appointment with my local eye doctor that I used to go to when I was little so they said that she had an astigmatism in her left eye and that she would probably always wear glasses but she was the cutest thing when she had glass

I have a really good website online where I had bought her glasses and they were childproof like if they Bentem the lens would just pop right out and you can pop them right back in and they had like this little band so they didn't slip down they were so

That sounds very like useful in the sense like kids break things but at the same time I feel like I feel like my kids would literally just act like it's a toy. But I might look into it. never know, might work.

Aw, she's probably gonna look so cute in glasses, but don't feel bad for missing it. It's something that's easily missed, especially when it's not super obvious. So, I mean, I'm sure she's okay. I have a stigmatism and I didn't find out until I was like already 18, 19 and I

And I genuinely thought everybody saw this way, so it's okay. I'm still not super consistent with where my glasses, but I definitely do when I'm driving.

That's really interesting because my daughter is 2 1/2 and she is pretty clumsy I'd say so maybe I'll have to look into that so I appreciate you sharing this info never really would've correlated the two
