Do you have a strict like bedtime with your kids and Even in the summer do you continue with that like routine? So for the most part our kids go to bed at eight my six month old kind of does what she wants But like after one years old we strictly started eight Now some nights obviously we stay up and watch a movie or do like fun things but generally at eight o'clock they go to sleep So that's something you do that you like enforce like bedtimes and even in the summer because I feel like for my kids at least by 8 o'clock they are so like exhausted but not wanting to go to sleep that they're just throwing fits after fits and if I don't put them to sleep at like 8 it just continues to get worse until they crash out randomly somewhere so Oh yeah, do you do bedtimes?

I am during the week yeah but the weekend is pretty relaxed if we have something going on during the week I won't be like oh we have to go home and go to bed I just you know whatever happens happens but if we're home what do you normally home during the week then yeah we go to bed on time

I totally get that too. Like on the weekends, like it's definitely not as strict. We still try to somewhat do it around 8-9 because they just become very fussy. But like my husband isn't over-the-road truck driver, so when he is home on the weekends, like we end up like doing like movie nights or other things like that, or just like spending, letting them stay up and spend some extra time with dad before he gets back on the road. So I totally get it.

We also have an 8 PM bedtime for my three-year-old and we didn't start until he was like one as well and some nights it's harder than others but most of the night he's pretty good at doing 8 o'clock and I do this thing where I like I call it turning off the house which I think helps a lot with doing the bedtime routine

Basically I just let my son go around turning off all the lights in the house and I turn on more of like an ambiance sound like more lullaby E music and I put him in this like indoor swing we have and we read a book and then it's bedtime and that's kind of like how we turn off the house we turn off all the lights make it all like I don't know cosy quaint I guess you could say

Yes, I do. Bedtime is always at 9 o'clock, especially during the week for school time. And in the summertime, I let them stay out until maybe 10 o'clock, but usually my boys will be getting tired by nine so they're usually in bed by then.

Yeah we definitely do bedtimes mainly for our own sanity and it's hard because when we do go out with family and it ends up being later than usual we also get those tantrums and so it's it's tough but we really do try to stick to that because then we don't get like likes a "" personal time after And that's really like our downtime that we actually get to like be together and stuff because he works and what not so yeah usually 738 the latest

So my kids are in bed by 6 PM I am we have like a strict bed time routine that we do but I'm not really strict on the time that you go to bed I'm just really strict on the routine itself because for teen is for them to know when bedtime is they can't tell time at the moment And I don't think it really change during the summer either but I do you like them go to bed earlier because they don't nap and they're cranky

And by 6pm they are yawning, rubbing their eyes and ready to go to bed. so then having over-tired kids is really hard to do it too.

I am I wish I was in forcing bedtime a little bit better I deal in my son is in bed by nine asleep by 9:30 but it never works out that way I think that he could use more sleep but I think by the time we get home and settled and eat dinner and all that other stuff like time just flies by and it's like that decompression time and you know so we definitely as much as I try to enforce bedtime it just doesn't work most of the time
