Okay, I have a question. Does your workplace offer mental health days or do they have policies where if you're sick or not feeling well you have to have some sort of like doctor's note and it has to be some sort of physical illness.
No, it does not and I don't think they ever will. I think people, I think they're like, ah, people will abuse it, right? But they do have unlimited sick days, which is nice. I don't use them often, but it's nice to be able to just feel like, okay, if I don't feel good, you know, which includes mental health, you know, I just say it was a sick day. So we do have flexibility to be able to do that.
No, I think that's really good because they don't like ask you for specifics. That's awesome. I've had workplaces that like needed doctors notes. They got like really picky about it. So that's good.
I don't and I wish I did. I get a few days off which is nice and some like work days to do more trainings But those are only two a year so mental health days would be like I guess days off and some holidays but I wish I got more.
Yeah, honestly if it was just like paid sick time where they didn't ask for details that would be good. It gets hard when like you have to specify like what kind of illness it is for why you're taking the day off or like have a doctor's note. I wish that workplaces didn't micromanage to that degree, but yeah.
