To follow on to my last post, let me rephrase the question a little bit. If you could start any company, particularly within the tech space, what would it be? Now, mind you, this is bearing in mind resource money. Anything is not an issue if you had all the resources in the world to start any company you wanted to develop anything you wanted to. what would you try to take to market?
I would create a community-based app on eco-friendly and sustainability where petitions, community service gigs, social media and sharing, and even influencer marketing are all present.
Also having a bit of a network base in there like YouTube, yeah it would have a separate section for more long-form content or even like a TV network style bit of the app.
Lastly, it would be cool to have a bit of like a Facebook marketplace feature, but you could also directly purchase sustainable eco-friendly goods as well from local businesses or small businesses.
Brilliant, and with the size of the market, especially these days, then I'm almost shocked that there isn't something like that already. You should definitely jump on that boat and get that up and running. I'll definitely be one of his bosses.
About how long is the journey of getting an app from startup to flourishing and thriving? I guess it depends, right? And I guess it depends on how well your marketing team is and your team in general. But what do you think about that? How long is it?
And another question is the cost. It's kind of daunting. I would love to start up this venture but have stopped myself for the past two years because it just seems, like I said, daunting.
This is a brilliant question and unfortunately the answer is exactly as you say, it depends. But what it really comes down to is funding. It's how much you have to spend on it. You know, money talks in this kind of scenario. However.
If you don't have a big starting budget and so on, the best thing you can do is find someone who's an app developer, a full stack developer, to build an MVP that you can then raise money on so you have a co-founder with you, essentially one tech person who can help you.
And then obviously from there on it depends on the size of the app, the size of the offering, what is the product and the platform that you want to provide. And he can take anything from a few weeks to something simple to a couple of years, essentially.
But yeah, do you know if this is something that's also interesting that I can I can talk about a bit more in-depth In my own soundbites do let me know and I'll be more than happy to do that more than ever to do that.
Some sort of all in one app which can either Pullin data from every single other platform service in the world into one place and allow people to manage everything they need payments utilities life
I mean that sounds super exciting. And I was wondering is that what they've kind of done with is it Alipay or WeChat? I think it's Alipay that's done that that have covered such ground. or am I mistaken?
Yeah it's exactly like WeChat I'm in the UK that be difficult to do because unless you build all these proprietary systems into one platform then I don't think is possible to pull pulling all these other platforms into one but I'll beat the idea
You got me thinking with this question, which I don't have any response to, like I seriously started thinking about it. I have nothing in mind. say it's not a matter of free services because you're private providing the money but
Yeah, of course, it makes sense. You don't have to have all the answers now. Who knows, maybe you come up with an idea and then you can reverse engineer it into the next big thing. Yeah, anything's possible.
