Does anybody have any experience with bar tech because I have long thought about starting a company that does bar technology when it comes to serving drinks and so on and so forth and I was very close many years ago to do it But it takes a lot of capital because it's the capital intensive industry, but I'd love to hear does anybody know Anything about bar tech specifically about automated services like I've seen bars that do service was, self-serve, that kind of thing. Let me know what you think.
So I've done a little bit of research for a special client of mine regarding a self-service bar just because they're opening up a huge space and they want to have self-service bars on multiple levels of the building. So let me get back to you on that, but I think it is worth the time and the investment because it's also cutting down costs and I think that's the biggest thing a lot of companies are wasting money because of incorrect portions.
Yeah absolutely incorrect portions and spilling that kind of thing is huge. Now that'd be cool, yeah do let me know how that goes with the clients. I'm very keen, very keen to hear.
So that's pretty cool there I've been two things I've seen one of them travelling one was in Singapore which was a automated coffee maker so I come in what they let me they name is I don't like Alexa and she'd make copies of rugby and you can make 2+ and I thought that I could reduce the cost of the actual drink because it doesn't reply human resource and some bars within London you self-service one
And to expand on the second point about wine, you can go up there with a glass you essentially top up a card and you can just choose an array of wine. So that's the closest I've seen between the two but I think a self-service bar would be cool and I think it would be a novelty gimmick in and of itself but I think overall bars making a lot of their money off people actually communicating with the bar centers and being absoluteSo..
Yeah, this is it. And I'd love to see how an automated bar would do and how much the human interaction actually does do for a lot of these bars. I think, you know, when it's a hot summer day and it's one of those areas where there are a lot of bars around and it's people are outside and it's just jam packed. I think those would be the perfect times for an automated bar basically avoiding lines and cues. And when there's too crowded for anybody to really chat, you just want to make sure to get your beer. But no, thank you for sharing, mate. That's really, really cool.
