I've talked about Alexa a couple of times, but I also do have a Google Home. I'm very curious, I've barely used my Google Home, which was present, I really do like it, but I use it very rarely. Does anyone have experience with both and or other smart devices in the similar category? And why or why not do you like them?
Alexa is my go to a couple years ago I got a Google home for free and I found it rubbish so even though I got it for free I didn't use it and that was kind of a loss leader
Fair play. I don't really use my Google for anything other than music and Sunday Lime but considering I think it's about four or five times the cost of an Alexa or an Echo at least and yeah, I definitely prefer the Alexa so far. But then again, maybe I need to unlock more potential. The speak out on the Google one is definitely much more clear.
Yeah fair player and that seems to be worth leaning and I'd say I'm quite the fan myself. I've got two echoes I got one as a gift, one for 20 quid and for that price, it's a brilliant deal.
So Google home and Alexa the echo on they both feel like just stationary versions of the iPhone which has Siri I believe that out of all the software that Google is the most accurate when it comes to speech to text when it comes to speech recognition Siri comes in a close second and Alex is just absolute rubbish
I'm loving the the firmness in the opinions there. I've got two Alex's I really like them actually but that's probably only because I use them for very limited things and for those limited things they do a great job especially with a dog and a lot of luggage and things like that I'm always in that house it's just you know using that for cameras lights music whatever it is when my hands are full but yeah I'm gonna start using the Google and Alexa more.
