How do you mamas take care of your sick babies and kids when you're not feeling good my nose is so stuffy right now lol yeah I'm definitely getting a little sick probably because my daughter was sick and it's just so hard to try to take care of yourself and your baby I can't imagine if I had more than her right now but I want to know what do you moms do where do you your sick and your baby sick Certainteed is a certain mindset like yeah how do you mamas do it
OK this question literally came at a perfect time so not this past weekend but the weekend before last we were all sick with a stomach bug like all throwing up all the four there's five of us but four out of five us were throwing up both ends for the whole weekend and it was rough it is seriously so hard to be a mom and like take care of yourself while you're sick and then taking care of sick kids when you're feeling like shit it is so hard it's like the hardest thing with parenting it is it's rough
But what I do is I try to drink a lot of water I try to push through I try to get us to off kind of just relax like we all sat on the couch together I covered my couch and sheets and towels had pupils were all of us lots of fluids and that way the kids were entertained so we kind of had like a whole movie day and we just sat relax drink fluids watched a movie and that was how I was able to rest during those little small moments of time
It's very hard I've been there like when these viral infections were going on so whenever every time someone would fall sick in the house I would grab it from that person and then eventually my son will fall sick and if my son is sick so I would catch it from him so it happens and it is so difficult because both of you are Shake at the same time and you have to take care of the baby whatsoever so it's extremely bad
Thank you for replying to this because it does make me feel a little bit better just knowing that yeah it's just so hard like I'm actually this sad tomorrow this Saturday will make it a whole week since I've been sick I'm just happy my daughter is doing a lot better but now I'm trying to just recover
I am not feeling 100% right now and I think my little one and my, well both of them are starting to kind of feel sick too. So I think we're just going to take the next couple days easy and like watch lots of movies and stay home and just relax.
So that's a real sick I was like 37 weeks pregnant and I had two dollars and they were both sick so thankfully we could all like Ollie down for a nap in the room and just get some extra rest because extra sleep really like helps you over come make your bed so your body fight off the sickness
Yes I agree with this so much like it's been a week now since I've been sick and I am yeah today usually I don't nap when she takes her her nap but I was like yeah today I have to because I definitely agree like getting the sleep is what's going to help it's just hard when you have a nine month old and yeah oh my gosh you had the two of them but hopefully you guys all recovered
Honestly it is extremely hard to take care of myself when I'm sick and also the baby like it's so hard it's like those moments that you were like fuck like where is the help I need
Yes girl this is exactly how I'm feeling because it's been over a week now since I've been sick and exactly like you said I'm just like where is the help like I need help because it's so hard this is I feel like why I'm not getting any better because you know it just takes all the energy out of you when you have a child.
I know I was just saying this to my husband I was like if my daughter has the flu like what am I gonna do because having a cold is different than having a flu like I would much rather have the flu and a cold because she has asthma but I don't want the flu because it's so much harder to take care of a toddler with you have the flu good luck mama you're doing great
I wanna see you just like pray for the DSP over and just like try to look forward and it's hard it's hard especially when you're sick and your baby sick but just lotta cuddles and yeah specially lots of fun lots of cuddles
Oh that's me right now man I never ever get sick like I literally I feel like my musician is freaking amazing and I have not been sick like this and since before I had kids and then I had to have sicker than hell I can barely talk my nose is so stuffed I hate I can be here any day and my son is also gets sick so my daughters 2 1/2 so it's a tactic over here and we just relax and try to get through the days
Yeah girl I feel you that's the exact symptoms I'm having like you can hear my note my voice is still so nasally I'm so congested like I've just had all the sinus pressure oh my gosh it's been over a week I'm just like oh so stuffed up I'm so over it.
Thanks that is so helpful like that's what I feel like I have like this basket of like nasal spray for her and for me and then just like little snacks and stuff so we can just like be on the couch and just have everything right there I have like easy kind of meals and stuff but yeah oh my gosh I like this definitely has the top challenging thing ever to do being sick and taking care of kids
The best way to do that is to forget that you're sick for the betterment of your child. You should definitely, regardless of if you're sick or not, should be taking care of your sick child. There's no other way around it.
Yeah so I agree with the first part where yeah you can change your mindset to try to trick your brain to say you're not sick that also depends on what kind of sickness it is cause I mean if you're vomiting there's only so much you can do another question I have are you a parent and has this happen to you are if not just curious about the advice you gave
