I have been to therapy for years and years and years and it's been a minute since I've actually done a session but I wanna know if you've ever gone to therapy and what is like the biggest thing that you've gotten out of it so far in your therapy experience for me I stopped this therapist that I absolutely love it was a three what it was a free therapist through like a woman's health clinic and we only ever talked on the phone I never even know what her face looks like and I cared on the last day of our last session I bald because I absolutely loved Her and I just was able to use that resource anymore but yeah let me know if you've done therapy and what you've gotten out of it so far
I've never been to therapy but I've always wanted to go and I've been thinking about it a lot lately just because so many of them do telehealth and over the phone appointments. I feel like that would be so much easier.
Honestly I would highly recommend it and you don't even have to go into office you can do like a voice chat or a phone call text anything like that but it's I say that literally everybody should do therapy because it's amazing
I totally get that that's mostly why I don't do therapy at the moment it's because of money money stuff but yeah hopefully in the future I'll be able to get back into it
I've done therapy seven years ago and it was for probably about five six months and it definitely helped. I was going through a really rough time and going just really help clear my mind. I would like to go again but it's expensive.
Incredibly expensive you should look into I know there's lotta places that you can get on waitlist for like three free or like an expensive therapy you should definitely try and look into that because I love therapy even when I'm not in like a bad place
I was in high school I used to see a counsellor and it was like therapy but now I don't go to therapy I probably should go to therapy but I love the idea of therapy for anybody who uses them
At least tell everybody and anybody that even if you're not like particularly struggling with anything at this point in time that therapy is so useful so I love telling people to make use of it because literally everybody can use it
So awesome that you started therapy congratulations I freaking love it and I absolutely love going with everybody or telling her to go and I really want to go with my partner as well I think that it would be amazing just in general
I have been doing therapy since I was 11 and I've had countless therapist because the place I was saying for like my whole life is very unreliable I got a new one now she's really good actually and I'm finally doing DBT therapy which I've needed for so long
I hate when people have bad experiences with therapy it sucks that it happens and having an unreliable therapist I feel like is even worse but I'm glad that you've gotten to go somewhere else and that they are doing better
Thank you that's really sweet and it's really upsetting especially as how often it can happen my best friend actually just told me that they had a first appointment their new therapist and the therapist basically ghosted them and never called
So I was in therapy from the age of 13 all the way up until 18. And I can't say that I loved it. I definitely did benefit from it when I was younger, younger but as I got older it didn't benefit me as much.
And then I was in it again at the age of 21 after I had my second when I was diagnosed with postpartum depression and honestly I didn't benefit from it I didn't enjoy it it just it wasn't for me compared to when I was a teenager
So I've had a lot of very bad therapists and I'm talking perverts just terrible people but I did have a good one in my early 30s and I'll never forget they said if someone drains their energy and after you hang out with them you feel negative get them out of your life like don't even think about it if it's every time you're with them and they drain you somehow and make you feel not good get them out of your life
