So this is for all my stay-at-home moms, working-home moms, ones with babies and toddlers. How do y'all get it done, like the housework? Do you get the housework done during the day? Are you able to get much done during the day with your little ones? Or do you feel like most of it gets done once you're a partner's home or once the kids are asleep? I try so hard to get my housework and the cleaning and everything done during the day with the kids, but it just feels like it's almost impossible. I get as much as done as I can, but it just feels like the majority of things I do once my husband is home. I've tried, but my baby doesn't nap more than like 30 minutes at a time, and I also have my 4 year old still home, and he wants me to be with him basically every second, so it's just really hard to get anything done. So if you also have any tips, let me know.

The one thing I can say, I have a one and a two year old, so I totally get that. Not everything gets done in one day. So what helps me is I break up everything that I want to get done during the week and I break it up by day and I don't necessarily hold myself accountable to get everything.

to get everything done in one day that you want to because sometimes it's just not um it's you just can't so what i do recommend doing is bringing your toddler with you to do things that they're they're able to and generally they tend to like

maybe every kid is different but bringing your kid to come and wash the dishes with you and maybe you're gonna have to bring a towel with you honestly it's gonna make it a little bit harder but at least you're able to get what you need to get done and they may enjoy it.

Same thing with laundry. I've been trying to find sensory activities that they can do. So I'll bring out a towel, a bucket, and honestly I'll bring a couple bowls out and put a ton of ice in the bowls. and they usually knock themselves out.

And they get distracted for about 30 minutes. Another one I like to do is wrapping up some of their smaller toys in a foil. But I mean it's harder with my one year old because she likes to put things in her mouth. So, but yeah, try finding activities that they can do I'll give you a few minutes.

Those are all great ideas. Thank you so much. I definitely need to implement more of a schedule of what I'm going to get done each day. I think that would definitely help or have a rough outline. I think that would help keep me a little bit more organized for sure.

And yeah I think it seems like it's easier to get my one year-old to like be entertained if I do like a sensory activity that's like safer that he's in his highchair for something like that it's more like my foyer lately that is struggling to really be entertained

We're really trying to home school, but you know it's hard with the baby of course, but I think he's just mostly just ready for school. Like he needs more interaction and friends. So I think once he's in school I think that will definitely definitely help as well.
