Last night, the Writers Guild of America, or WGA, reached a tentative agreement. After 146 days of striking and picketing, WGA said the deal is exceptional, so it must have addressed the demands that included a pay increase in receiving more residuals, the use of AI, and hiring more writers. SAG-AFTRA is still striking, so even if the WGA finalizes this deal, there will still likely be some delays in production.
