It is for a person that looks at you like their property and they want to control you. They don't have any understanding or any consideration whatsoever at all. They think that you belong to them. They think it goes and what they say goes.

I absolutely agree. If your partner is looking at you as someone that they just want to control or they see you as property, then for them it would be difficult to grasp that concept. So you're right and I wholeheartedly agree.
