Most of us will have to deal with gaslighting at some point or another throughout our lives. But somehow it seems to become the norm for women to somehow have to brace ourselves for the possibility that at one point or another our significant others are going to gaslight us. And some significant others are so well equipped to do this that they do it just for the sake of getting a rise out of us just to see how we'll react to it. So I ask you, when you're gaslit, how do you handle that? What do you do? What do you say? Like how do you feel? Let me know.

First of all, you don't respond. You stay as emotionless as possible. You let them talk and do whatever that they want, and you just ignore it and don't give them anything. You have to stop giving them supply.

So, gaslighting, it's just like two people really having a different memory of something, which if you think about it, if you're saying something can happen one way and say your husband or boyfriend saying something happen.
