We got iPads for kids to play educational games on when they were about two years old but I actually have a friend who got smart phones for her kids instead of iPads or tablets they just use their smart phones just like they would a tablet they play games on them it's just a smaller screen so her three year-old and six just turned seven year old have cell phones already technically they don't really use them to call or text people if they just use them to play games on but nonetheless they have smart phones already at the age of three and six So I am curious when do you think you'll get your kids smart phones my kids are actually three and six as well and they do not have phones and it's hard for me to say when I think I'll get them maybe when they start doing more things independently without me along and I want to be able to contact them so maybe around the age of 1112 early adolescence I did hear that the average age of that a kid gets a new phone or their first phone I should say is age 10 so I thinking right now that we might be a little bit After the age of 10 when my kids get phones but I could be totally wrong maybe they'll have phones next year who knows we'll have to see what happens but what have you done or what do you plan to do
