Okay, so my husband and I went away for our first kid-free vacation since we became parents and our oldest is four he turned four in February. So it's been a hot minute since we've taken a vacation. So that leads me to my question have you had a kid-free weekend with your spouse since you became a parent and if you have at what age were your kids when you had your kid-free weekend? So my oldest is four and my youngest will be two in July. So it's been a while since we've had any like a long time. So it was really, really nice. Let me know if you've had the chance to do it. I really hope every couple is able to do it at least once a year, because I feel like it is so needed.

So we have three kids 52 and one and the only times that we have been away from the kids not like a full weekend but it'll be like an all day thing or it'll be an old with only had one overnight away like with all three like when we had one we did but we haven't since having all three

The kid free weekend sounds so fun I haven't had a kid free weekend with my partner like we haven't done that together we take time separately to like have our own time with our friends and I've done like a girls trip and he's had like a guys trip so not together yet hopefully in our books soon we'll see

I guess my daughter probably went and stayed with her grandparents before my son was born, so he's three and a half now. So we had a kid-free weekend then. I don't think we went and did anything. I think we just stayed home. I probably worked and all that. So we have definitely not had a getaway type weekend since our kids were born and our oldest this six and a half so yeah it's been a while.

The last time my husband and I had a kid who weekend was for anniversary in 2019 so that was 40 years ago and my oldest would've been six so we haven't had one since Covid happened and we haven't had one since we've had our youngest

I am at the last kid free vacation we had was lots to hear when we just had our oldest arm and he was probably like 2 1/2 I think maybe three but since we had our second we haven't had a chance to go away unfortunately just cause he still nursing and it's so difficult but I'm hoping maybe in the summer or next year we can have a night away because those weekends are the best

So my kids are only 2 1/2 and my son just turned one and I don't think I could ever leave them overnight I'm such an age is fucking bitch I just I'll be freaking out all the time but we are going to a concert in July and they're just staying at my brother brothers and my boyfriends a stepsister's that I really like and it's right down the street from the concert venue so that's the only reason I don't feel as bad and we're gonna be staying there with the kids overnight so
