So a lot of my friends and I, we've been talking lately and it seems that several of them are ready to take the next step in getting engaged. And we were talking about timeframes and it had me thinking, okay, let me ask you guys, what's a good timeframe to get engaged? Because I don't think there is a magic number. If I could be really honest with you, I know not everyone wants to get married. But if I had to choose a number, I would say between the two to three year mark. I think that's pretty good. But yeah, I would love to hear what you guys have to say.

I think from 2021 yeah from 21 you're good to go because I can't you can't make decisions when you're a teenager or just you're just leaving the teenage water yet 21 in a bowl

I mean really whatever's comfortable for you and the other person but you gotta do a lot of work to get to that point of feeling.

I think it's like when you guys feel like you're all good to do that, but you should definitely take your time and like I don't know. Get, get, make, make sure your shit's right.

A good time to get engaged would be you know once you're financially ready to in my opinion and that you are you know pretty much very comfortable in your life if you don't have those two it'll be like difficult to you know but this is my Pam

No 2 to 3 years that that's not good enough anymore the more time I'll say minimum five years five years then you know everything about the person you want make sure you know everything before you commit your whole life is that one person I'm saying

I feel like if you are 35+ you being engaged after two years of dating intentionally I feel like that's normal I feel like that's a good amount of time now do I feel like you need a big wedding hell no but the reality is is either you really want to that person or you want to drag a waste of time

Some husband and I, we dated for a year before we got engaged and we were engaged for a year before you actually got married. You know, people, they get married for less time than that. Like, I've heard stories of people getting married within a week or within a month and crazy things like that. So I think it just depends on the couple. Some people say they just knew instantly. So I don't know. I don't think there's a set number.

I think this is a personal because this doesn't have a time like you can get engaged after one month or after than yours

There is no timeframe if you feel like you love someone and you want to do it and it's right just go for it without thinking or anything like that life is too short do you whatever makes you happy

I think about whenever you're like 23 or 25 I mean I don't know nothing about marriage but I just think it be good to get marriage done after you get all your other work done and you're ready for it
