Hey ya what are y'all takes on long distance relationships I'll go first I am not a fan now might have a best friend today throughout college send it up married works for them and I feel like it takes a lot of patience but for me like I just have those days where I just had a long ass day at work and I just wanna come home and see my man and not have to like plan like 23 months in advance like when we're going to see each other and we're gonna have to hop on a plane or if it's somewhat it within a clubs pass the proximity drive to go see them like I think that's just too much and it's like as I'm getting older like when you have fully established careers it's like hard because somebody's gonna have to move and like make a sacrifice so I'm not a fan but what do y'all think I wanna hear everyone's views

So it's funny because the relationship I've been now we just made five years and we did our first three years long distance and we met long distance and we been living together for two years and we have a son now who is five months old

Oh I love this I love stories like that I definitely think it can work per the people how serious they are about you and how much time they truly want to invest in that person and I kind of like where they're at in their life

I really think like that plays a huge factor into it because it's kind of like it's almost like you know juggling and got like three different options like obviously they're going to go for like take the easy route unless there's obviously something like so special which obviously that was it

Sorry you know I left to ramble at this point you should know by now but I love that everything worked out in your favor because there's a lot of people that I do mean long-distance but I just like I just I don't know I've been there done that I didn't work for me but I love that

I've actually been in a long distance relationship and I don't think I would do it again. They didn't work out well with us and yeah, nah, that's not for me too much

I've been in a long-distance relationship twice and it definitely sucks. I would not recommend that because I'm the type of girl that likes physical touch.

I totally get it that's all physical touch is not my number one but it's just like quality time is and I can't be on the phone and like stuff like that it's just not the same as you physically being in their presence so I get it I'm not a fan either

Okay, I absolutely think that a long-distance relationship could work because outside of Empylaeumorus, I lack my space at my time. So if I know when I'm going to see you, that's all that That really matters.

So I guess my question for you, because you are a polyamorous, like are you saying that you have someone that's close by that's like one of them that you're messing with or like If none of them lived near you, Would you still be able to do it or?

Oh I hate that for you but I get it cause I've done laundry since before two and is this is not here I'm just more so the person that when I come home from a long day at work or I need a penny on a hold you guys are whoever I don't know how old everybody is but I kind of just wanna either link up with my man or you know I don't have to plan out to three months in advance to have to come see you afraid to see each other like I don't know that's not as annoying but the cheating part that's a big piece

As far as long distance relationships, I believe that any relationship that is important or worthwhile to have demands a certain amount of respect and energy that needs to fall through. So, I mean, don't be needy. Like, if you really want to see them, then work towards being able to see them anytime you want to. Like, make that a thing. Um, but yeah.

But you are in a relationship but at the same time like you should always be willing or available to be by yourself unless it's function at a high level by yourself. So you're not always relying on the energy of someone else. But I do hear you out when you say like you want to come home and see that person. So the vibe, but don't let it be like crippling to like who you really are.

Oh you make a really good point like yeah you wanna see them but like you shouldn't be like a dependent dependent on you like you know you feeling happy and relationship based on their presidents so once that's true now that I do agree with like you should be able to be content in your relationship without having to be with that particular person all the time because you definitely have to love you first without that to me there's no real release

Because to me you really have to be like really contain and like and literally in love yourself before someone in this particular inception love you as well but it's just make me more so like a What is it convenient it's like just an inconvenience to have to really like map out like yes it's possible but like time plays a factor like people work and people got things going on and you know I'm saying like you it's just a lot of factors that's all I'm saying

Like I agree that is doable I've seen it many times where I can't work I just feel like for me personally when it comes to just like you know just wanna be around him and like you know it's been a quality time like when you get off of work or you just had a bad day if I got a FaceTime or you know like I don't want to have to like plan it out in advance to be able to see my man like that's annoying to me but it is definitely doable absence makes the heart grow fonder shit

I used to be in a long distance relationships, but I'm not anymore because I want somebody here when I want to do something when I want to go out to eat, you know, when I want to lay up, I want them here. can't do that doing long distance.

Yes that's exactly why I don't like it it's like with long distance you have to plan so far in advance I mean depending on where they live but if it's like driving distance like a couple of hours that's not really long distance I'm talking when you have to hop on a plane just to spend time with them and have them by your side yeah I just like how you just seem like I had a bad day the next day I wanna go out to dinner with my man like you can't cause you have a planet you know that means like that type of stuff is just annoying I don't know how people do it

i feel like a long distance relationships are a waste of timing. i just recently got out of one and she was just having trusted issues with me and thought i was like cheating so i was like i'm just really done with it and it's not the first time i've been in a long distance relationship with anybody so most of my relationships were long distance and

Oh I'm sorry I didn't work out but I totally get why you would be over it I've done it once before too and the trust really Hass to be solid like you really gotta have that trust foundation there because if it's not it's gonna be constant argument it's going to be a constant uphill battle and then it's like eventually you can't be long distance forever like somebody's gonna have to move I mean you know while you're like super young like you know you got to figure it out so I can school and stuff but it's just too much
