Doesn't anyone have any new ideas anymore? Hollywood loves to revamp, reboot and retell the same stories over and over again and it's kind of a snooze fest. But sometimes they do get it right. When do you think the reboot was better than the original? In my personal opinion, 1956's Invasion of the Body Snatchers was truly a piece of cinema perfection. I grew up watching that in the dark by myself at age 10 over and over and over again. I loved the stays out of it. However, maybe 20 years later I finally got around to watching Invasion of the Body Snatchers, the 1978 version and let me say Donald Sutherland, Jeff Goldblum, just perfection. I absolutely loved it. So that's my vote. What's yours?
