Doesn't anyone have any new ideas anymore? Hollywood loves to revamp, reboot and retell the same stories over and over again and it's kind of a snooze fest. But sometimes they do get it right. When do you think the reboot was better than the original? In my personal opinion, 1956's Invasion of the Body Snatchers was truly a piece of cinema perfection. I grew up watching that in the dark by myself at age 10 over and over and over again. I loved the stays out of it. However, maybe 20 years later I finally got around to watching Invasion of the Body Snatchers, the 1978 version and let me say Donald Sutherland, Jeff Goldblum, just perfection. I absolutely loved it. So that's my vote. What's yours?

Speaking of, I heard there was going to be a Clarissa reboot, but something happened with Melissa Joan Hart where it didn't happen? I mean, it probably would ruin Clarissa for us, to be honest.

I don't know how I would feel about a Clarissa reboot. Would it be like her kid or something? I don't know. I don't want to ruin the magic.

John Carpenter's The Thing. I mean yeah it's easy to say that it's a really gory spectacle, but it's also got some carefully crafted tension to it and just constant playing with audience expectations. It's really really good.

I'm with you 1000%. I just made another post about the thing recently. It's magnificent. I love John Carpenter.

Or the Worlds, you know, the one with Tom Cruise. Fantastic. But if we're gonna talk about... I know it's not really the same kind of thing, but... Best game reboot ever? That's best. The new one that just released is fucking ma-

But have you ever heard the War of the Worlds rock opera? Because that came out way before the movie and I do not feel that it's top-able. I think it's already the topest you could be.

I have and don't get me wrong, I absolutely fucking loved it. But what about the BBC series thingy, you know, the one where the tripods are blue for some reason?
