So shout out to Vibrant Thing here on stereo. We were discussing in a previous soundbite about packing videos and how people now like to watch packing videos from different companies, small businesses, you name it. The conversation actually went into haul videos and how haul videos were once the it thing on YouTube and every other space. Do you think that hauls actually help companies or do you think it just makes people over consume and end up with a lot of clothes that also just go to waste fields.

I think all videos do you make people want to shop more when they really don't need the stuff to begin with because it's just does need to have some thing

Right, and overconsumption actually does more damage for your pocket's long term than it does for the economy. But people think it's like, oh, I'm boosting the economy. Actually, you're killing the world and you're killing a pocket.

That definitely increases the consume in general on people and buying things that they don't even mean

I would say that it only encourages people to buy and buy a lot of stuff that they don't even need.

Um, I don't know it depends how much people buy in general because I like watching a whole bunch of haul videos but I'm not like rushing to buy anything but a lot of people are.

Yes, if they're doing them like every few weeks, I'm like, okay, I get it. I get it. You have a lot of stuff, you like to buy a lot of stuff, but what's the point?

I am definitely guilty for being someone who contributed to her videos are used to push out a lot of her videos Sara pretty little thing I saw it first she in before I knew that they were horrendous company

And I would 100% say it definitely encourages United the audience to buy things they don't necessarily need including myself I can happily say that I am influenced by other influences and just do over consuming and which is something I've stopped

But although I have stopped there are a lot of people who are definitely struggling with this I see this in my little sister resources are Genzie she is actually still have the latest in US and it is definitely going to be a growing problem

I mean if we're talking about videos around showing off products that you bought etc. I think that's brilliant if it's done quite well as a decent review video kind of thing. after used it really.

I think when it's done well, done tastefully, it absolutely makes sense. But I'm speaking more to the people who do hauls every few weeks. Like how much more can you air quote consume, which I'm glad that they have to have some transparency about what they're actually buying versus what's actually being paid for and gift it to them.

Hall videos honestly do nothing for the consumer and the reason why is they see one or two items that they may want and then they see the price. That's one of my main issues with when they have these haul videos, a lot of the products calls too much to begin with.

For people to continue to do them, haul videos need to have an objective. Like, here are 10 pieces I bought to improve my closet or here are 10 items to increase the productivity of my music studio, something with the purpose.
