People who chose to be atheist. I'm curious, why did you choose this?

So without his presence and without people around me talking about it, I probably would have stayed atheist or not a non-believer in God. But fortunately someone came and started talking about God that opened my eyes.

I'd say I probably was more of an atheist at first. And that's because I went to eight years of Catholic school and really didn't care for what they were saying.

Well, when I was young, I wouldn't call myself an atheist, but the lack of just- the- like, people around me just never talked about God, so it just- it felt normal.
