Okay, so I want to know in your dating and relationship side of your life, what is the biggest risk you took? This could be a breakup, this could be moving, this could be, you know, a job transfer, whatever. For me, I've done a lot, but one that definitely takes the cake is that I flew out to the guy that I was hoping that would be in my life forever. And he proved to me that he was not qualified to be in it. And I'm trying to say that nicely. His true colors came out and I quickly realized that even though I had known him for such a long time at that point, I deserved better. And I walked away and honestly, I was proud of myself then and I still am now and I always will be. So yeah, it taught me a lot about my independence. That's for sure, and that's the greatest risk I've ever taken.
I flew out to Australia and, funny enough, despite what happened with him, I ended up falling in love with the country and I ended up moving there in 2019 to do grad school. And I have very good friends there to this day.
The biggest risk I took while dating was opening my heart back up to love. After heartbreaks, I wanted to stay single for a long time, but God knows that I made the best decision opening it up to my girlfriend. and she's the best ever.
Oh wow, that was beautifully said. Thank you so much for sharing that. That really warmed up my heart and I can relate to that even now with my partner. He came out of nowhere and truthfully has shown me so much.
