Keeping it short and sweet here are hopeless romantics red flags So back in my dating days like trying to you know be in a relationship with a guy. I Never had an issue being a hopeless romantic But nowadays with the lingo I'm hearing about like love bomb for example Like I know what it means but the context and the way it's being used in today's dating world makes me very confused and I never saw a hopeless romantic as a As a problem, I thought of it as someone really genuine and wanting to give all their love like how I felt But maybe I'm biased, so be honest with me. Let me know. Is it really a red flag to be that way?
Yeah, they kind of are because they overvalue what a person brings. They care more about how someone makes them feel than who the person is and how compatible and how you match up lifelong goals wise.
I will say no they're not red flags if somebody is I guess you know just put themselves out there and you know I think I think that is something that you people should you know support
Yeah so I am kind of like I'm on the dating scene again I guess but there's somebody that like is really nice he is a friend of mine and he's a hopeless romantic and I do tell him like hey I am this way in this and that and he kind of excepts it but I don't think he's really gonna like it so like I don't really love the red flag but it can be like a candy something
I suppose it depends upon how we're defining it. I mean, if we're conceptualizing it as a pathological state, then I guess it is inherently bad, but I don't think about it like that. And as long as he's mentally, emotionally, spiritually, and physically healthy, then and I would prefer to be with a man who is a hopeless romantic.
The only context I can think of in which it's a negative thing is if you have a dysfunctional person who throws him or herself into dysfunctional relationships with dysfunctional people and then thinks that love will fix the situation, but if you have a healthy person who enters into healthy relationships with healthy people, then I don't really see how it's a bad thing.
