Alright, imagine this you're having a home cooked meal with your partner Would you rather be the chef or be on dish duty because I know everyone's very different. I Would love to be the chef. I enjoy cooking and there's just something so heartwarming About seeing other people enjoy the things that you made for them but I know some other people really couldn't care any less and rather perform an active service, such as washing the dishes, to make them more relaxed and not worry about cleaning up. But yeah, we'd love to hear your thoughts.
I mean I try not to be so controlling where I don't lost media communication but I think cooking should be both peoples jobs and then dishes should be both people job as well so y'all should swap roles every once in a while but I do like to cook out a lot so I probably will be the chef if anything but something like guitars I wouldn't wanna do all that anyway all the time
Oh my goodness, I absolutely love this answer to both cook and both do the dishes. And I also I also think it'd be a really productive activity as well because you're getting more out of the way in less time.
You're so funny because like I'm very traditional in my values but when it comes down to it I've open restaurants on the fantastic Coke and I just am not gonna find a woman who probably will all cook me and I like cooking so I like to be the chef
You sound exactly like my partner and that's actually what surprised me and was one of the first things that attracted me to him was his passion to cook and I find it very, very, very awesome. So keep it up.
I would rather be the chef because sometimes cooking takes hours only for you to eat it in 10 minutes but I feel like washing the dishes takes way longer and even though there's only like you know two of us that are partners it's just like I just hate washing dishes
Oh my gosh, yes, absolutely. There's actually a meme that went around a few years ago that was viral about this exact same thing that you mentioned because cooking can take a good sum of time. Eating basically takes almost no time and then the dishes can take a lot more time than those two things combined. So you raise a really good point right there.
I deafly rather be the chef but I think that I think it's good to do but everyone does both like somebody might do majority the cooking but they help you and then also whoever cooks helps with the dishes as well and everyone just cleaned up together
Yeah, I totally see where you're coming from and it sounds like a great system too because I think it's fair that at one point the roll should switch. So yeah, totally see where you're coming from.
OK so when we've done this before it's kind of like both sometimes I'll be working on one day she'll be doing another dish or sometimes if I finish or he finishes we start cleaning him really depends
I'm not gonna lie, I would rather hire a chef to do the meal prep, the grocery shopping, the cooking, and the cleaning. And the chef can eat with us too, that's cool. I decided years ago that a chef will be part of my life.
