How long do you usually wait to eat before you go workout? I usually eat around an hour, hour and a half prior Higo Trains just so I don't feel too full or nauseous in the moment of squatting or doing any type of exercise. But what about you? Do you like to eat an hour, hour and a half before or you just skip a meal, train and they need after.
Usually do 30 minutes to an hour and then I head to the gym after eating and do a workout and then Everybody's persist enough. You'll probably have more energy energy and and then it's just better in the long run after and sometimes after a workout.
Yeah you're completely right especially if one of your meals have had some type of simple carbohydrate so your body can use it up quick to use as fuel during your work out it is the best thing
Yeah I do the same thing to whenever if I'm going to the gym later on that morning and I do get some breakfast then I make sure to eat and then possibly about 30 minutes to an hour so I don't feel super soft over there
Well, you gotta let the food digest so I'd say the right balance would be around 45 minutes to an hour because by then you probably have digested most of the food then you're ready to just kill it at the gym, you know what I mean? So yeah.
Yes I made a mistake once of eating and then going to the gym 10 or 15 minutes after I ate a full meal the whole time what song is doing leg day I just felt nauseous but that was a first and last time I ever did that I don't know why I did that maybe because I was running out of time and I had to work out but it was not a fun experience
Yes that's what I'm going to actually start doing so because I don't have time to eat a meal before the gym so well my schedule is starting to look like at around five 5:30 in the morning I start to train my clients after that I head over to the pool and around 9 AM I start to swim so either before or after that I do my protein shake and then around 1030 I hit the gym
I usually like to eat after a workout if I'm really hungry I'll eat like a quick snack But like it cannot be heavy at all I will like there have been times where like I've ate like a full meal and then gone to lift and I've noticed that like I live super heavy on those days, but I'm like slower And then after I work out it takes me like almost an hour and hour and a half to eat something just because I get really distracted.
Yes I was waiting for somebody to mention it was because the times that I have ate four meals before the gym I just get so slow while I'm working now I do the reps a lot slower my rest times I rest for longer and then I just feel kind of drained I mean I'm able to lift more yes but I just feel super tired while I'm lifting so I definitely get where you coming from
I should be waiting longer but usually I wait like 20 minutes and sometimes and I'm feeling way too bloated which is my own fault because I'm not waiting long enough so I don't think I should wait longer
I just told somebody else I am on the same page as usual because sometimes I do not wait and I eat a whole meal and I just go to the gym and I just I was telling them that a yes I can lift a lot more but dang I just feel bloated I feel like I'm gonna throw up it's just not a good feeling
Yes that's what I do but I know they need to switch her because sometimes I hit the gym around 11 or 12 because I go swim before and I am just starving I'm just running on pure fumes
3 hours or so? I wait like I'm 3 hours just so I can digest the food, you know, absorb the energy from the food. But obviously a large portion of it's not when but kind of what you eat. That's kind of what's the key aspect. It's what you eat. You can't have like a hefty meal. You've got to get your macros and your calories and everything right.
I definitely agree with you on the last plane that you need to get your macros right whenever you do eat your meal but you need to have a good balanced meal before going to the gym so you can have enough carbs to feel you feel you with enough energy and enough protein so you won't be starving so yeah you're right on that one
It depends on what I'm doing. If it's stuff that stays outside the chest and like gut, like if I'm doing like triceps and shoulders, I can pretty much go right after I'm eating. But if I'm doing like chest and biceps, like stuff that can, you know, pressure on your chest, doing acid reflux and whatever, I don't want to mess with that. So I'll usually wait a couple hours or if I'm doing an ab workout, I always do those before I eat because I just can't mess with them I'm half straight so it depends.
Yes I'm so happy that you mentioned acid reflux since you put attention to the part because I have Gerd I have really bad acid reflux 24 seven and if I eat a hefty meal and then go to the gym right after it's just gonna feel horrible especially having heartburn and everything like you're mentioning if you're doing upper body great but if you do any type of work out or legwork out and you keep on putting pressure to the gut isn't it feel bad
