When you start to feel your mental health decline what do you do to feel refreshed again what I do is I switch up my schedules and I switch on my routines because having the same routine it's amazing at first but after a couple of weeks it just drives me insane so I take up either a new hobby or a new sport before going to gym or I read or I go walk my dog or I just do something differently what do you do
I love everything that you said there. I think those are great things to be doing. Good advice. I feel like when my mental health is declining, it's because I'm not putting myself first or I'm not doing activities that bring me joy. So I will kind of reassess and be like, you know, what do I love doing that I haven't really done in a while? So for me, it's kind of the opposite. I will go back to what I love to do. do and I'll do things like video games, crocheting, going outside, going to the beach.
I love this for you and I love that you found something that works with you to under mental because sometimes I still struggle on figuring out what I can do to just really help my mental health and exactly like you're saying it you really have to fill your own cup because if you're pouring into people with an empty cup there's nothing a parental no more you're drained everybody else around you is going to feel how drained you are and this is going to be a domino effect
That's amazing all the things that you do I love that me personally for my mental health when I start feeling it going a bit downhill 1st thing I do is make sure that I'm meditating like meditation is key in my life for having mental clarity and just kind of reevaluating what I'm doing what I'm focussing on and just yeah that's what I do
I love that you found something that works for you and you know what I think that I'm going to start taking your advice and take up meditation because for some reason I've just been feeling my mental health client for the last couple of days and I have no no idea why because I've been filling my cup my cup by think it's already overfilled it's just gotten to the point I don't even know what to do anymore and I don't know why sometimes I feel like that but since I love giving I'm gonna start giving more to others see that work soon
Yes I agree with you 100% because I love love love hiking I love nature in general and when we get to camp out it's even better I haven't gone in years but that's next on my bucket list because I definitely want to go back
I start working out more, start going outside more, hang out with my friends, family, because I live alone, so I'm alone a lot of the times, but I just need to switch up the routine.
Yes and sometimes that's those are the moments that we don't really value when we do have them because we have everybody around us and sometimes we get annoyed or sometimes we wish we were alone but then when we truly are alone that's always there missing everybody so I completely understand you when you say to regroup and just be with everybody again
Honestly, I'm still trying to find ways to deal and find coping mechanisms to feel refreshed again after bad mental days, but honestly, it could just be a thing of just doing what I like to do that day. So playing the game, listening to music, watching a good anime, you know, just to get my head back in a good space.
I agree with you and sometimes those are the moments that we cherish the most because when we do have those bad mental days all we wanna do is just really regroup and doing the things that we love most exactly how you said it and sometimes I can't be just playing video games for it for five hours and you just feel a lot better because your battery just got recharged again
Definitely journaling that always brings me back to my center and makes me feel better. And then I'm really into doing yoga and that helps to relieve stress and tension and really help me refresh myself.
I love this for you because it sounds like you know exactly what to do whenever you start I have those bad mental days or whenever you start to feel your mental health declining like you already know what you Gotta do and there's some people sometimes I feel a little confused like me that I don't know sometimes if I wanna do so I just kind of see what I'm feeling and I'm actually gonna start thinking about doing yoga I actually got a mat and some cubes to start that up to
I usually change up my gym routine or like go have your changing weights or something like something to make me feel something Or I like focus on getting more sleep or like spending more time outside like little things like that I can't really change it too much because then I won't really want to do it
