OK I am curious I have a toddler and he fights sleep so bad I have to like a rock with him or bounce him to sleep and I have taken away like breast-feeding to sleep and it's been a little rough we usually only feed like once or twice a day now he's not the biggest fan of only feeding once or twice but I'm curious if your toddler is put themselves to sleep for their naptime and bedtime or if you have to sing to them rock with them lay with them a whole spiel to get them to go to sleep

So my son, when he first started, he's a little different in general. We are actually trying to get evaluated. But he was very hard to get to lay down for naps. Like he could not soothe himself where he would literally best.

He would literally take his head and beat it against the floor or the door and obviously I couldn't let that happen so I'd stop it and we would have to like rock him to sleep or like lay down next to him or sit next to him and rub his head like he could not. Now we're at a point now that he's two.

He does it on his own now, which is amazing.

My oldest is three she will not go to sleep unless we are in the room with her so like bedtime we have to sit in a room until she falls asleep or she'll just cry and cry and cry and she doesn't sleep all night either

My youngest, who's 21 months old, she will put herself to sleep. I could put her in the room, say, Nanne, I love you, do whatever, close the door, and she will be fine. She winds for a second, but she's fine after.
