And while there was more cake left on the shelf than there was pie, it got me thinking. Do you become joyful for cake or do you become joyful for pie? And what is your favorite go-to flavor and why? Okay, so every year around Thanksgiving, my family does, this is a huge family tradition that my family does every year on Thanksgiving. My cousins from St. Louis, they all have this contest. It's a baking contest to see who has the best apple pie. And every year they do the same thing. And so we have judges and tasters.

Well, if I had to pick, I would say pie. Because what man doesn't like a nice cherry pie?

Oh my gosh, I don't know if it's because I'm American that I get this reaction from other Americans, but I really don't like pie. I'm not a fan. So I love cake. It's not my favorite dessert, but I will definitely pick cake over pie any day.

I would have to say a good chocolate cake gets me happier. A good chocolate cake maybe with a good chocolate ganache. Oh yeah, it's probably my favorite.
