I really feel like New Year's resolutions are for quitters, for people who want to convince themselves that they're going to change and do something different, but they have a year to do it and they either quit before they start or they quit a month in.
I think vision casting is important for any time of the year. And in order to really think about or dream about what you might want to be, you have to be a visionary.
I totally agree and you can do that at any point in the year. You're totally right. It's just a matter of waking up and deciding to do stuff differently this day, whatever day it is, you know? Totally feel you on that.
I don't think New Year's resolutions are bull shit, but I believe it's good to have a good outlook for the new year and to have plans and to at least try to be consistent and follow through if they happen or not.
That's why with my New Year's resolutions, I'm just, I have my plans, I have my goals and my visions for the next year and the only thing I can do is just stay consistent with what I want and eventually I'll get to where I want to be.
