It's securing the bag taking priority over securing mental health. Let's talk about it.

I find that making your money takes care of some problems, definitely, as we all know. But I often find the people that I talk to that thought about suicide, it wasn't a money issue that drove them to that thought process.

I love this topic. I think it is too broad to discuss over sound ****s, but essentially I think it is and it isn't and I'll explain my reasons in the next sound ****.

Securing the bag is very important because then you'll have the means to secure mental health. There are a lot of people out here that don't have the means to secure their mental health, so they go without help or means or resources.

Yes, because now it seems like no matter what you do, you need money. Even if you try to get into a relationship, you need money. A lot of people are materialistic.

There is no mental health safety in a system that extracts wealth from us in order to give it to the most powerful.

Securing the bag, trying to secure the bag can cause you to have mental health issues because when you have money you have to take care of it. You have to find a job and trying to...

You were absolutely right trying to keep the bag is like a job in itself. Everybody got their hand out and that alone gives you a level of stress.

My question, I asked somebody else on this, I just want to get your feedback on it. What is the happy medium? You know what I'm saying? What is the things that we should start doing to make sure that we are keeping our mental health in check and still secure in a bag?

I find that it doesn't take a lot to live, to have your needs. You know, we want a big house, a nice car, but maybe not such a big house, maybe not such a big house.

Yeah, so sometimes that can relieve, you know, help with the mental health issue and secure in the bag. To me, it helped me. So, I don't know.

I'm at this point where I'm tired of trying to secure the bag and I'm like nowhere near securing the bag that I want to secure. So I'm focusing on mental health and I have been since the pandemic 2020.

Therapy is fantastic, but I still have my issues and I still have to give myself grace. And working for people sucks, it does, but I don't really have the energy to even try to have a side hustle.

I've tried to do side hustles. I definitely have tried. I just have not been consistent and Consistency is really difficult for me. And that's one thing in the new year that I'm going to try to Stick with is to stay consistent.

I hate to say 2022 was a struggle because I don't, for me, I've had my ups in 2022 and I've had my downs in 2022 and I feel like my biggest down is right now before 2023 hits.

It is so hard to go to work and like a job that you used to really like and now it just sucks. And I'm at like a really weird spot right now.

The easiest thing is to find another job. That's easier said than done because looking for another job is is just insanely hard and frustrating. So I'm in that process and trying to give myself the grace.

I think everybody right before the year ends feels a little bit of pressure with the new year coming in and feel a little down to be honest. I don't know if that was the right word to use and not saying that's what you're feeling.

Also, I have a huge patience problem. Patience in every area of my life is just hard for me. And I hate processes. I don't have patience for a damn process, but I'm trying to give myself the grace.

Yes, life's hard. They're trying to, everything costs money now. They want you to pay for everything. Your health, your freedom, everything. I agree, yes.

But like, is the money, you know what I'm saying, are we really replacing making the money with making sure we're mentally, you know, okay? You know?

like, you know, making the money is cool again. It takes care of some of the things we stress about. Like I was saying, like most of the things that I've heard that drove people suicide had nothing to do with money.

Because we're in probably the most like probably the most depressing time of the year is the holiday season. Sorry about my kids in the background.

Yeah, I think the short answer is yes. Like securing a bag is always taking priority over mental health when you learn to hustle like we did.

Bro, you absolutely right bruh. Once you get into the grind and get into the hustle, it almost feels like you can't stop for a moment for yourself. Because if you stop, you gonna drop the ball and lose it all.
