I don't really know what the context is for this particular question, but I've heard most of the sound bites saying how it's just, it's a feeling. But to be honest, if you have a feeling that someone is lying to you, you don't necessarily have to prove it.

about open communication. If you've already spoken to this individual and asked them if they're lying, they said that they're not lying. But you still have just a weird feeling anyway, it's honestly up to you because that can stem from your own personal insecurities.

So whether they're actually lying or it is your own insecurity, it really doesn't matter. If you're not comfortable with a person or if you're just not comfortable with the situation in general, it's best to walk away and protect yourself.

So this may not be the best way, but this is a way. So what you do is you make up a story and say that they already told you that, and then sometimes they'll tell on themselves.

Oh my gosh that's sneaky so you lie so that they can tell the truth? I'm very confused. So you make up a story and say that they told you that they were going to kill you.

So bouncing off of what some people have already mentioned, it's a feeling, it's kind of an intuitive thing, but also on top of that, I look at how I know this person, how this person communicates if their tone changes.

If their body language tenses up, if they're just like deviating away from the baseline that you know them to be, so you can tell.

I can't tell if someone's lying, I just base it off of a person's vibe and my intuition.

I can actually catch someone lying to me when they not making eye contact with me. Because if the moment you lose eye contact with me, it's over. You're lying to me.

As an empath, so yeah, I kind of feel that someone is lying. So I guess I'm half 50-50.

I'll have an idea that someone is lying if they're doing something that is outside the realm of what is typical or average for that person or just in general and then I'll just keep asking questions.

I think taking the time to think critically is the best way to spot a lie. So before I wouldn't do that, but now if someone tells you something, I think, hmm, does that sound right? Does that sound like that could be true? Just think about it.

It's simple, open and honest is the best way to go. If you're hiding something you will be defensive and secretive. It's that simple.
