I'm actually the opposite of you I'd rather get a cat because I think they're easier to take care of in my opinion and look for my research like they did say the cats are easier to take care of but like that's kind of like the least of my worries I don't know why because I've always want a cat I don't know

I personally am a cat person more than I am a dog person. I love dogs but honestly I could never see myself actually owning a dog unless it's like a small dog. Mainly because dogs themselves aren't as independent as cats so you can easily leave the house without feeling as bad. And although yeah you did say that dogs are nicer, cats can be just as nice too, so I imagine, yeah.
