Cats are the best and she definitely will. She's just got to get used to her surroundings. If it's a baby, just try to coddle her and come for her. If it's a big cat and she's already been in a home, then yes, you have to give her time.

It takes a while for cats to get used to their new environment. I definitely had the advantage of getting siblings, so at least they had each other. I don't know what I would do if it was just him by himself.
