Good evening everyone, Ash checking in again. I hope everyone is doing really good. Actually sitting here and chatting with my friend Rachel and you know having a conversation about growth and healing and that kind of stuff and self judgment came in because one of the ways in which we we get to know who we are through through this process of getting to know who we aren't. And the challenge with that is we often look at that as failure, like we think we're gonna like something, we go for it and it doesn't work out or we realize this isn't what I wanted. Like I'm going through the grieving process of that as well, starting my marketing company because I used to love it and then created a business that was successful and as it started to fail, what I did not see was that it was my own growth and going, this is not actually who I want to be in the future. Who I've been does not need to be who I'm gonna be. And so, you know, in learning who you are, really start paying, like it's not about quieting your inner critic or the ways that you judge yourself, it's about actually listening and then hearing what that critic has to say because their point is valid, right? but then you have to go seven layers deep. And this is an exercise I learned from Kate, Marie O'Brien, and I can't remember who she learned it from. So what you do is you pay attention to the ways that you're judging yourself or whatever, and you write down that first Y, and then you give yourself a little bit and you come back and you go, okay, what is the Y of that Y? And you keep going until you're seven layers deep and you find that the actual Y has nothing to do with the first one. And so we're judging ourselves in ways that it's like, it's not even ourselves judging ourselves. like I should be somewhere I'm not. Why? So try it, let me know.
