So if your kids are anything like mine, they have tons and tons of toys. And it's gotten to the point where my son is now six and he has too many toys to fit in his room, but he doesn't want to part with any of them. So my husband and I are trying to figure out, do we just slowly, kind of secretly donate toys, you know, get rid of them? Should we just put them away and let him decide later? I mean, he doesn't want to get rid of any of them, but we also don't want to be like sneaky and take his toys. So how do you handle this? Because I know all your kids have tons of toys out there too.

Okay so my son has an insane amount of toys and the thing that we do is we rotate toys. So I have like an eight cube stand and I change through, I like change eight toys every ****** week and I store all the other toys in like a closet.

But like this helps them like be able to use or like focus on just eight toys a week so that they're not so overstimulated and they still like can have fun with their toys but it works really well.

When my kids were younger and had toys they no longer play with, I would just tell them like, hey these are your little toys, you're a big kid now, let's give these little toys to someone else. And we would just pack them up in a box and take them to our local Goodwill to donate them. And my kids loved doing that.

That is so hard. I'm in the same boat. My four-year-old has so so many toys and of course he wants to keep anything everything as well What I did is I stored some in the clear bin and put them in our basement where he couldn't see for now.
