All right y'all, how do you all schedule out your screen time for your babies, your children? Is it like one hour in the morning, in the afternoon, and at night, or you have just a maximum of two hours a day, or like how do you do it? I'm trying to figure this out. I feel like I'm doing pretty well, but it's not like a consistent or like I don't have a set time and I really want some opinions

Total honesty, I don't really limit the TV time in our house. It's always kind of on just in the background, whatever we're doing or playing, even if we go play outside, probably leave it on in the house. Don't really think about it too much but iPads I limit to after dinner so like before bed type of the thing.

I love how it's like not even a thing in your house. Like some people, me included, like think too much about stuff and I think like Screamtime is one of them. But just the fact that like it's not even a thing shows that it's not something that is detrimental to like your kids' well-being so I really love that.

So I guess I don't limit screen time but I do limit screen time we really don't use it very often we normally watch a movie Friday night and then if it's raining outside we'll watch a show or some thing and then everyone's wild and I will watch a show I just try to like it Mason asked first like watching some thing I'm like oh let's do this instead and I getting really excited about something else so that we're not always on the screen because I at least

I love that you pivot his attention to something else instead of watching screen time. My daughter's not old enough, so it's kind of like at my discretion more so than hers. But yes, once she gets to that age, I'm definitely gonna start doing that when she starts to ask for too much to say, hey, let's do this instead. So I really like that.

What is the say is at least you're my kid if I let him watch too much then he just gets super super grumpy so I just limit it as much as I can

So we pretty much have like the same daily schedule routine and so my kids know like when screen time is on the only get it for like little sections at a time in that is usually for me to kind of get stuff done or accomplish something like if I really have to get some thing done but they're really easy-going I'm pretty lucky about that I mean they are not addicted to it you know when it's time to get off it's time to get off and that works out really well for us

Yes, I love that. So this weekend I'm working on implementing like a set schedule. My baby's not even two yet so we kind of like wing in life right now but as she's getting older and like I'm trying to get more organized and have a schedule so I love that and I love that because it's in your schedule it doesn't have to become like a problem. So thank you, mama.

So Monday through Friday, my toddler goes to preschool for two hours in the morning. So when he gets home, that's when we have lunch, like kind of regroup and figure out what we're doing for the day. So usually while I make his lunch, I'll turn on a show or a movie. And I try to limit that time frame to like an hour, an hour and a half. And then that's usually when we finish up lunch and then we'll go to the park or the playground or the library, something like that.

I love all of this. I'm finding when I like bring this up that a lot of moms are just like, oh it's not even a thing like because like we have schedules and we have other activities that we do so it's not like your kid is just sitting in the front of the TV all day. So like as a first time mom I'm starting to like lax and like okay like it's not that big of a deal unless it it becomes that big of a deal. So yeah, I love that.

So we kind of don't have a schedule for it. We try to do no TV mornings. And then my oldest gets to like nap with a very calm, low-stimulating movie on. And then after that, we get to... Or after nap, we get to watch like movies. They like Blippi. So it's kind of like a free-for-all after nap time. Um, so yeah.

And a lot of the time if it's not like a movie, we're watching like Blippi or Miss Monica. We don't really watch Miss Rachel anymore, but we're trying to watch stuff to help them like learn. So yeah.

I keep seeing Blippi on so I got the Amazon app for my baby last week and I keep seeing Blippi so I'm gonna have to check it out but I love the no morning no TV mornings so we try to do that too because I just don't like starting off her morning would like too much stimulation via TV so yeah I love this

It's more like my four year old almost it's like hooked to it more than my oldest ever was I don't know the times have changed I have a seven year age gap so I take it away from her sometimes but she loves me outside and sodas my oldest so it doesn't matter if I did limited or not they just don't they're not hooked to it so they're always outside plus I live in the country on 5 acres so they have plenty things to do out here so no I don't limit

Yes, mama, I love you. Like I do not care. Yeah. And I'm like, I'm a first time mom. And you know, you kind of get like influenced, like, especially being on the internet of like moms like, oh my God, this green time, blah, blah, blah. But I'm also like that. And I'm like, okay, like, but she's going to watch some TV here and there. And as long as it doesn't become a problem and you have like that balance, I think that's cool. Also, I love the country life on the five acres. I love your life.
