Does reality TV impact our society negatively or positively I think it's unfortunately negative I know that we fit into it as entertainment but sometimes the example that they show can leave somebody feel like their lives isn't enough because of the well for the drama that fills her life I don't know I feel like it just kind of makes ordinary life seem bland but really there's nothing wrong with peace and being yourself

I think it affects society negatively only by affecting the people that don't really think for themselves and like like just observing the information but like for me I know that's part of the world it's always existed

Generally, I think it's probably pretty negative, but when you have cooking reality competition shows, that just makes me feel so optimistic about life. It makes cooking seem so much more fun and interesting. So I guess it depends.

I should have been more specific about that. You bring up a good point. Um, yeah, I think that the cooking shows are harmless and they're great fun. Or like, little cake challenges stuff. Those I really have no problem with.

I think it's definitely a mixture of both. On the one hand, it does make people feel like they can get famous instantly and a lot of fame hungry people kind of, you know, interact around that. But at the same time, it shows us the lives of people we would never ever have experienced or, you know, cosplayers.

I think that you just figured it out I think that that's why we watch reality TV show even if we mean to only watch a few episodes or the entire season it's this unattainable lifestyle that we may or may never experience

I think it depends because obviously reality shows are like amplified but it's also kind of based off their real life a lot of the times. So yeah I think it depends.

Hey Monica, Grand Rising. Um, mm-hmm. I don't even know if I can pick one. Just because I guess it depends on what type of reality TV that you're watching. Which genre, because there's a lot of different types, I guess.

I should have been more specific. I meant more like the Kardashians, the Real Housewives of blah blah blah. You know, those are the ones I find a bit problematic for the youth. But the cooking shows and the challenge shows, not so much. It just depends on the person.

I think it probably impacts it negatively to some degree, but I also don't think it really has that much of an impact. I mean it's just TV.
