Hey you lot, I wanted to ask if you lot pay attention to critic reviews or audience scores for a not coming film you're looking forward to seeing. Personally, I do glance at them here and there just to see what people are saying, but at the same time I don't let it bear such a heavy weight on my opinion because at the end of the day I feel like I'm a bit out of touch or maybe critics are just a bit out of touch with opinions I form. I just feel like certain fields are not catered to the audience that a critic might belong to. And with audience scores, it's been very often that I might like a film that most people do not like or I might not like something about a film that everyone is like lapping up. So at the end of the day, we're all different and we all have our own opinions. So let me know how you feel about audience scores and your critic reviews.

I do glance at them. I will like look at them if it's a movie that I'm like I want no bias opinions then I will not. I'll go in there just blank slate but But yeah, I like to look at them.

I like to see the general consensus of reviews by the critics and the audience, but ultimately it comes down to me whenever I watch the movie because they like a movie like cocaine bear. I fucking love that movie, about a lot of people don't like it.

I'll check them, but it doesn't really change anything. I'm gonna go still watch it and voice my own opinion. But if we're talking about like raw tomatoes here, like I never look at those, never care about those because a lot of the times it could be a bad raw tomato score, but then I'll love the movie.

I've always felt the movie critics were very agitated when it comes to movies and most of them are very one-sided so I normally like to go off of what the audience thinks

No because it's just a movie and everyone has different opinions I just look at the plot and the trailers and see if I want to watch it then I'll look at the reviews after I watch the movie just to see what other people say

Yeah that's why I just go and watch movie I'll see if it looks interesting and if someone recommended it and I was watching that I don't potential Tesco's cause that you said it to me times were you I have different opinions with critics audience

honestly no i don't pay attention to the critics reviews i look at the trailer and if I like what I see I watch it I don't go by what other people say

If it's a movie that I really wanted to see I typically just skip the reviews but if it's something that's like oh let's go try to watch this or let me go see what this is about I'll look at some reviews to make sure I'm not gonna get too bored or disappointed

I mean a little bit but like sometimes like I feel like especially if it's a movie critic sometimes they will score a movie really like lol but the movie will actually end up being really good and then like the audience rating will be a lot higher so sometimes it really just depends
