So, HBO Max recently announced that they're planning to reboot the entire Harry Potter franchise as a TV series on HBO Max. Personally, as some of you already know, Harry Potter isn't really my cup of tea, however I have seen most of the films and I think to this day they still hold up quite well. And I know those films are very special to some people so I don't really see the point of this reboot. Like, it just comes across as a cash grab because it really isn't needed. They could have just carried on focusing on the spin-offs or sequels. But I wanted to get your opinion on this. Why do you think they're doing this? Is it a good idea? Is it not really a good idea? Like, I don't think it's a good idea, but maybe you disagree. Just let me know and your reasons for it.

Personally, I don't think they should. I do like Harry Potter. I like it the way it is. That's just a thing. I think they need to just leave well enough alone and let it be awesome in its own way.
