So I'm in no way an expert in potty training at all. My kids aren't fully potty trained yet. But what I will say has been working for us is I got a poster board from the Dollar Tree and got stickers and made like a sticker board, like reward sheet.
And so once when they go potty then they get the sticker and then we do like a special treat where if they go a certain amount of times like 10 or 5 whatever they get a toy after hitting that mark.
Essentially, my daughters would only wear pull-ups when we would go out somewhere or when they're taking a nap or sleeping at night, but during the day they'd wear undergarments.
I rewarded them with praises and we also did a chart for a little while, however my girls weren't really interested in that so we just did verbal praises.
It did take my girls a little bit of time to learn how to potty train. It is a process. It's slow. Eventually they got the hang of it after a bit of time passed.
Yeah, I would say that the cue is very critical. And also, just keep in mind, keep it simple. Kids are like little camcorders. So let them see you doing what you want them to do.
